will the next lineup of Turion X2s the bulldozer i believe the ones with 2 x 1mb of cache processors fit into the current X2 with the 2x512kb processors? can you just swap them out?

Swapping them out should be possible, with a BIOS upgrade. However, the cooling system may or may not support this. It depends on the heat output of Bulldozer, which should be less.

It will be interesting to see if this processor, performs much better then the current Turion X2.

There is not a lot of information of these but AMD should make it compatible but like the Core 2 Duo, it will probably need a BIOS update at the very least and 'Bulldozer' is also supposed to be based on K8L so its just not a cache increase, but will have some architectural improvements. So if you are thinking of buying aa TX2 system now, I really wouldnt count on it being compatible.
