This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Managed to nab a P8700 off ebay for around £100 :D

    Along with my now installed SSD booting and loading should be very quick :cool:

    Total cost after selling my old parts should be £70 (old cpu was a P7350 2.0ghz).

    I think I can safely say we all wish that! :D

    Wonder if it's worth my while to upgrade to a P9700 from a P8400, I think I'll save me monies :cool:
