    Hi again forum peoples,
Heres a kinda weird problem I'm having, I'm wondering if you guys have any advice.

I've had an Asus a8js for maybe...1-2months? Everything has been running pretty well except that there was a rattling noise whenever I turned the laptop upside down (while off of course). This went on for maybe 3 weeks, but when I tried to turn on my computer 30 minutes ago no display came on and there was a continuous rapid beeping. I still heard the Asus startup sound though. I took out the battery, ran it on AC and had the same problem. After some googling I found that continuous beeping meant either keyboard problems or power supply problems, and I can still get capslock and numlock to light up so I am thinking its a problem with power supply. The only time I've opened the thing is to add a gig of ram. Now to my question:
    What should I do? XD

I'm not in a rush, and I don't mind sending the laptop in to Asus if they'll do a good job fixing it. So what do you guys think? Should I send it in? Is there a super easy fix? Any helps appreciated!

by the way, the laptop is currently unusable, I'm on a desktop right now.

Hmmm, that doesn't sound good. I'd send it in just in case, rattling isn't a good thing.

Well, my problem has changed fairly significantly over the course of a night. I attempted to turn it on again today and as soon as I attached the AC a squeaking sound could be heard, without even powering on. Now I'm almost certain this is a power source problem, so I'm going to talk to Asus support on Monday. If anyone knows anything else, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the quick response Coriolis.
