err what do you mean. hard drives do not come with enclosures unless you buy an external harddrive.

i think he is referring to the caddy which the harddrive screws into.
You will need one of these in order to mount the second harddrive in your system.

how is the harddrive attached to your computer without a caddy?
Is it just sitting loose in a compartment?

or did you fins something to screw it into?

If its lying loose in the compartment, you should contact Toshiba and buy a second caddy for your system.
I dont think anywhere online will carry just the caddy alone, so your best bet is to contact Toshiba.

yeah, im gonna have to contact toshiba as soon as i can just so i prevent rattle with the hard drive and just to be safe cause ive been transferin 80gb in the past 2 hours and dont want to do it again if the hd gets messed up.

Yes thats quite dangerous. Disk corruption is likely if it goes loose.

Purchase a proper caddy + connector
