This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Non-ECC. The NP2090 can only take Non-ECC RAM.

    Error Correcting Circuit RAM is used mainly in servers and Rambus memory.

    if you actually read both links, neither of those memory cards have ECC capabilities. In fact no laptop memory has ECC capabilities.

    thanks ppl, and i saw that the kingston one didnt have ecc but the pny didnt say anything so i assumed it was ecc.
