Hey everyone, I couldn't find the answer to this question, and sorry if it's really obvious.

When disconnecting a laptop (or any powered device) from the cable, is it ok to leave the plug in the wall socket in? As in, can I just unplug the part that was connected to my laptop and leave it be?

I thought I read somewhere that you shouldn't do that, but I really have no idea and I just want to be safe. Thanks!

There's nothing wrong with that, though I do take my brick with me most of the time.
