    Normal hard drive vs OCZ core SDD (SATA II)

    Hey.

    Today i wanna buy sager np9262 and they have some updates. Now im confused... what is that hard drive 128GB OCZ core SDD? Is it normal hard drive or its moveable flash? Can i normaly install over thers windows? How can i plug in that drive in to laptop (if it is outside)?

    The OCZ is a SSD (flash).
    It isn't external if that's what u mean. Its designed to be a hd replacement, so it just slots in a like a normal hd.

    The OCZ drive you mentioned is a Solid state disk. It is basically a huge memory card which stores your data much like a SD card does. The drive is the same physical size as a mechanical harddrive and fits into the same socket, which is a SATA port. The OCZ drive fits inside the laptop and you can install Windows on there, because it is a new kind of harddrive.

    SSD drives are much more expensive than standard harddrives, but they are in most cases faster and more durable.
