Hey, I am considering modifying my NB passive cooling sink, and I want to be sure that the mod is actually helping lower temps. My question is: I use CPUID Hardware Monitor to watch temps and I was wondering if the ACPI-> THRM temperature was the NB temp, and if not, is there a way to tell the NB temp? Thanks!

As far as I know, it's the Chipset temp.

On every notebook, the ACPI temp can be different things. In this case with the M570xU, the THRM is a thermal zone temp, not the northbridge temp.
