I just got the AverMedia Volar MAX for my laptop and I cannot get any HD channels...

I have Comcast Digital Cable, and I know my service provides HD channels because on my regular TV, which is hooked up to one of those big cable boxes, I can get HD channels.

So what's the problem? Shouldn't I be getting HD channels? This is an HDTV tuner. Am I missing something?

not use about Comcast but up here, even with an HDTV tuner, it cannot descramble the HD channels from Rogers, I need to use the set top box to get them (also need it authorized on their side). Perhaps it is the same there?

It's a ClearQAM tuner... from what I understand it's supposed to be able to display them.
