Friend purchased a Western Digital WD2500BEVT off the internet for his desktop. When I go and take a look it shows Hitachi HTS54502? I'm afraid he may have gotten scammed. What do you guys think?

I told him to get in touch with the seller. He has a return policy for 30 days, but it's an exchange. I told him that this is a case where it should be returned and money refunded asap by the seller. If not,it's false advertising.

Why would someone go through the trouble to replace stickers and labels on a $50 drive?
