    Hey all,

I am not sure where to put this but its kinda involved hardware.

Ok, I am thinking of upgrading my CPU to P4 2.8. But I am afraid to get inside of my notebook and mess it up. Is there any service out there that let you give your notebook to them and they will put the CPU in for you? Of course, I will supply the CPU, the easy part.

    Thank you.

Yeah, take it down to PC World. Here in the UK, at their services section, you pay £30, and they'll do anything. I'm sure other popular PC shops like CompUSA or something would do it.

But its fine to open your PC, just make sure you always touch unpainted metal on your PC ports, and just follow step by step instructions on your laptop company support site.

Thanks Lil Mayz for the info. The reason I dont want to do it, my hands is kinda shaky with working small stuffs. I will check CompUSA out. Hmm does Geek Squad have this kind of service?
