    Notebook TV Tuner Mini PCI

    I just brought a Alienware m9700. It has a coaxial input but a tv tuner wasn't an option. Is there a Mini PCI TV Tuner I can buy now to upgrade it? There are directions for the installation on the alienware site but I can't find the hardware.

    If I can't upgrade is there a good external tuner that work also work well for console games.

    i do not think you there is mini pci tv tuner. Most likely you will have to go to the external route.

    Mini-PCI TV tuners aren't that great. There is quite a bit of interference . . unless it is under $100, go the external route. I don't know where you can find it, but see if Alienware has some sort of online parts store.
