Most notebooks do not support upgradeable graphics cards. The Dell XPS M1710 supports interchangeable graphics cards, but only those that where offered as optional when configurating. The M1710 probably will not be able to support newer DX10 graphics cards, because Dell has decided to totally redesign much of their range.

The Rock is a slightly different story. Since its new on the market, and baed on the Clevo M570RU, it may have upgradeable graphics. However, it is not yet clear if it oes or doesn't. You will have to wait until more information appears about it.

The graphics are generally hard to upgrade in most notebooks by most support upgradeable processor.

WOW! Does the M570RU have upgradeable graphics - does that mean the M570U has as well - I've got that and I'd love to upgrade the graphics!

    Thanks.
