Hi all and thanks to anyone that will help me :(

I have an old laptop, a Notebook Easynote TJ75
    (for more details http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/bluetooth-module-other-uses.793929/page-2)

I bought this caddy from here
    https://www.amazon.it/VicTsing-Univ...UTF8&qid=1484002943&sr=1-1&keywords=ssd+caddy
I think it's one of the most used, it's top on amazon.com as well

I kept the SSD with my OS on the main sata connector but it's stuck at boot (packard bell logo), I can't even access bios.

I tried several things that failed:
I removed the caddy, entered bios, changed the booting order to 1st SSD/OS, 2nd CD/DVD
Tried both an HDD and an SSD in the caddy
Tried moving the switch inside the caddy

    Nothing worked.

My bios version is 1.09 and on the packard bell drivers there are several updates,

I downloaded the 1.16 update but I am scared to use it... I have never done a bios update, what if it fails?

Now I am looking if there is some sort of changelog in the 1.16 update archive
