    Hi everybody,

I finally made my choice to go with a dell m1530 xps WXGA+. I do have at home an lg 22 inches screen which is WSXGA+ which will be used pretty much constantly when I'm at home to game, watch movies and general usage. Once I unplug my laptop from my WSXGA+ it will go back to WXGA+.

I was just wondering how you guys that have pretty much the same setup work it? I know there's not a huge difference between both resolutions but still. What happens with your icons? Do they change place all the time because of the resolution change? What about wallpapers? Applications and games?

Do you consider it is really bugging you?

edit: Please read EXTERNAL and not ETERNAL in the title, sorry about the typo, no screen is eternal ;)

Icons change size. Wallpapers stretch. Games are controlled by the individual game settings.

Is it getting on your nerves? I was hesitating between going for a WSXGA+ laptop just to make sure this would not be irritating. But really, WXSGA+ on a 15.4 laptop seemed not the best to me and with the controversy around m1530 screens, WXGA+ definitely seemed like a much wiser choice...
