Any program to tell how many cells my notebook battery has?
I don't know because this was bought using the e-value codes.
    I wouldn't care but, I have good battery life 2:30 to 3:15 still(after a year) with 21% wear.

You should be able to work out the number of cells from the battery rating.

The nominal voltage of a cell is 3.6V, so 3 cells in series is around 10.8V. The capacity of one cell is typically 2400mAH. A battery with a rating of 14.4V 4800mAH means 8 cells set up as two rows of 4. Some cells may have a slightly higher voltage or capacity.

Another way to estimate the number of cells is by the weight. A 6 cell battery is around 300 grams / 11oz.
