Looks like the 300M series is coming along...
NVIDIA_DEV.0CAF.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M"
NVIDIA_DEV.0CB0.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M"
NVIDIA_DEV.0CB1.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M"
NVIDIA_DEV.0A29.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M"
NVIDIA_DEV.0A2B.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M "
These are included in some of Nvidia's latest drivers.

Nothing outstanding, we all knew the 300M series will come after the 200M). But I thought it would be nice to let you know.
-
Good news. Would like to know when there will be a GTX 3XXM.
-
The desktop 300 chips taped out not all that long ago, so there is definitely going to be a long wait for desktop chips. Even more of a wait for laptops.
-
Thanks for the information Blacky.
I can't help but think that if this information is already posted, that the 300M chips for notebooks isn't far off. But yet Greg is correct that we won't see the 300 series for desktops until the end of the year at the earliest and even longer for notebooks.
So I'm wondering why this information was already leaked?
-
Well, I think they will be out next spring. These GPUs look low, medium end. The current low, medium end are the 40nm 240M/250M which are yet to be seen in a notebook.
So... I really don;t know what to say. -
hmmm.. these better be DX11 or they will fail. Ati is set to launch DX11 in about a month(Desktops).
we'll see what happens! -
Like the 4860, the GTS 250/260M will become vaporware. These midrange cards will be based on the same GPU's but with DX11.
-
Aren't these mainstream (GT) and high end (GTS)? Low end should be G level, though I believe for the 300 series they removed the G and just had a low 2nd digit and/or 3rd digit (305M/310M -> low end). The GT 240M/250M should be upper end of mainstream, 128-bit w/ 48 shaders, beating out the HD 4xxx series and the previous GT 1xx and 96xx series.
-
Are you sure those are not yet another rebadge?
-
Nvidia said that there won't be any letters in the future, so no more GT, S, Xcrap...
-
I read that too, but that .INF seems to disagree.
-
let's hope it's not a G92b core adapted to DX11...
Maybe thanks to the 40nm technology or lower ? they achieve to make a true GT200 mobile which power comsuption isn't over 75w -
They already did with the mid-range 200M series coming out. So I would guess the 300M will also be based off the GT200 core.
-
I hope they do do that, that way ATI can crap all over them and Nvidia will start to learn that their rebagding and die shrinking and overclocking BS isnt going to cut it anymore if they want to keep the crown.
-
The thread can't be complete without some Nvidia bashing..
GT300 will be just that, an evolutionary GT200, but nothing revolutionary. Smaller fabrication, GDDR5 memory, DX11, higher clocks, more shaders; but the same architecture. The most we can be thankful for is getting away from G92 on the mobile front. But don't expect anything more powerful than current GT200 desktops cards. -
Yet another rebadge/overclocked/shader increased/ blah blah blah etc. Nvidia is pissing me off, force ATI to bring out some better stuff by actually doing some innovative for once in 2 years.
-
Im calling the reverse; Im hoping ATI is smart and decides to show up Nvidia again, only this time, even worse than the last gen of GPU ( better performance per dollar and take the crown of most powerful GPU ). Then, hopefully, Nvidia will smarten up and realize that they need to go back and start making new GPU s again.
