Ok so question, I cant find the answer on the site, and I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question or not but here we go.

So I have a 52 inch sharp 120 hz lcd, I purchased some 2 years ago, Nvidias kit says it needs a 120hz tv thats "3d" capable, so my question is whats the difference between my tv and the new ones that this glasses attachment wouldnt work?

I figure if I hook up my computer to my tv, and have the glasses set up it should work no? Because its software ran so the comp would flicker the the frames for left and right eyes, and the glasses hooked up to the computer would sync your eyes, technically allowing it to work??

EDIT: I realize you also need an Nvidia 3d ready GPU obviously and lets say I had that too.

Just wondering what your guys' opionion on this is .

Any delay in getting the signal from your laptop to the TV could be a big problem.

    Cool idea.
