    Hi everyone,

Is there any way to adjust the voltage of the Nvidia Quadro FX 770M (aka Geforce 9600M GT) without flashing the BIOS?

Alternatively, can I control the Powermizer settings and lock the card to one of the 4 presets (2D/3D/Throttle/Extra)?

If anyone knows anything on the topic or can recommend a utility, please chime in with a reply.

    Thank you!

I think that there might be a program (ATI based, though I could be mistaken) which allows voltage manipulation via windows.
I can't recall the name of it though.

Aside from that, I undervolted my 9600m gt GDDR3 to 0.89V years ago, and then I OC-ed it by 20% (to 9700m gt levels) in Nvidia Control Panel (that's the maximum OC that my gpu accepts on those voltages).

    Deks, thanks for replying!

I also run the GPU undervolted, and can overclock it to 600/1500 at 0.89V. However it can go to 700/1800 at the default 1.05V, and even higher at the highest voltage, which is great for gaming, but not so great for the temperatures.

So I'm trying to find a way to overvolt the GPU without having to flash the BIOS every time I need higher performance. I tried PowerMizer Manager, but it doesn't exactly work for me, and I still have to restart every time I change the settings...

Sadly, Rivatuner doesn't seem to work with Quadro cards...

And why don't you flash the BIOS?
Take the one that is on TPU for HP FX770m. Modify the clock settings and voltages in your favor and flash it. Just make sure not to screw your card.
    No?

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. It's just that my quad core CPU and the video card share the same heatpipe, and with the card at its default voltage and overclocked, the temperature is 9 degrees higher than with the undervolt - it goes over 90 sometimes, which isn't good.
