Hello, I've searched several pages and so far no one answered me specifically, my question is: Geforce GTX 760m card is MXM (Mobile PCI Express Module) or not?

    Thank you very much.

I don't believe any 760m's were made as MXM. 765m definitely but not 760m, but 765m can also come embedded. Any chip can be either depending on how the OEM decides to build it.

AFAIK all 760M are non MXM and are soldered. Most 765M are soldered too, like on most Clevos, MSI, Gigabyte. Only Alienware 765M on the Alienware 18 (SLI) and Alienware 17 are MXM. Alienware 14 is soldered 765M.

No, the Clevo 765Ms are a mix. If you get the NP9390-S, you can downgrade to SLI 765Ms and they use the removable card version in that model. Otherwise, yes, they are all soldered.

The two 765M's in my 9380 look like MXM as well; I was very specific before buying about asking "if I do this I am gonna be able to upgrade GPU's later, right?"

Best to do research yourself and not rely on sales people to give you the correct information. If it has an upgrade path to top of the line GPUs (like 870M, 880M, AMD equivalents) it has to be MXM.

You are better off going by laptop model to determine if a card is MXM.

EG All MSI GT models, clevo PXXX models and alienware 17 and 18 all use MXM cards so any card in them must be MXM.
