    Hello,

I'm no hardware expert and might have underestimated the problems that can occur with a mobile gpu upgrade. I have a Nvidia GTS 250m (30W TDP, MXM 3.0) in my MSI MS 1727 (actually it's a Terra Mobile 1772, but the case and motherboard is the same, just different label) which I wanted to upgrade with an Nvidia k2100m (55W TDP, MXM 3.1). The TDP is not a problem, because the same cooling solution is used in its bigger brother with the ATi Mobility HD 5870 with over 50W TDP). I've read that MXM 3.0 slots should be compatible to MXM 3.1 cards, just lacking in PCI-e 3.0 support which results in a few % performance loss. Sadly, I can't get any output on the internal display, VGA or HDMI port. I can't say whether or not the GPU is 100% healthy, because I bought it from ebay and can't test it in any other way. The Kill-A-Watt-Meter is constantly at 45W when I turn the laptop on with the k2100m in it ... seems like it's stuck somewhere. The card was installed in a HP ZBook 15 before (acording to the seller), which has a not the best cooling solution but I doubt that the card isn't working because of heat-death or bad solder joints (don't wanna bake it yet). Anyone an idea?

    Thank you very much.
