Hello all. I want to purchase OCZ RAM from Ebay but the OCZ's warranty policy states that "This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of products purchased from an authorized OCZ dealer. Except where prohibited by law the warranty is non-transferable. An original sales receipt or valid copy the receipt is required to establish purchase date and original purchaser.". My understanding is:
1. The warranty is non-transferable.
2. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser.
Are they correct?
If yes, after purchasing from Ebay, will RMA be an hassle? If the seller can provide me the proof of purchase, is it ok (invoice?) ?
Thanks in advance.

Unless it was bought with cash at a store, there is going to be a receipt or invoice with someone else's name on it. So yeah, an RMA would be a hassle and against their warranty policy.
