According to OCZ's Website it does support Trim. (Under Specs)
I have the original 60GB Vertex and I have just that...60GB of space. Well, 59.6GB
Another company might spec and advertise their drives as 64GB, 128GB, 256GB etc. but OCZ keeps it real with the consumers....and specify/advertize them as the space that you would actually see and be able to use.

Doesn't TRIM also reduce storage space as well? Or am I wrong.

It doesn't reduce storage space. The OCZ, like most other SSD companies use 32GiB, which translated into computers is around 30GB (decimal vs. binary).
