(i posted this in the Lenovo/IBM forum, but I realize it's more of a general question. thanks for your help)

I'm looking for an extra laptop battery for my Lenovo t60..... and I've been looking around at OEM and non-OEM ones.

Here's my question - would you buy a non-OEM laptop battery from ebay? Do you think it'll last as long (hold its charge) as the OEM ones? if not, is the loss in charge worth it?

    here's a 7800mAh lenovo battery that's non-OEM. They go for about $80 shipped usually.

here's a 5200mAh OEM lenovo battery. It holds less charge than the "high-power" non-OEM ones. The OEM ones go for about $75 shipped on average.

Which one do you guys think is the better choice? Do you think the non-OEM one is going to last as long as far as holding charge? anyone have first-hand experience with these non-OEM versions?

    thanks,
