    Hi

I have a dell inspiron 1150 with 512Mb RAM, intel 82852, and Pentium IV 2,8.

Since 2 weeks ago or so I started to experience an error in some applications (especially at loading times) that appeared to be a "microsoft send-no send" error in which the problem was "hungapp".

After downloading thousands of virus checkers... everything, i formatted my computer as last resort. Now, I have it formatted, and I have just installed basic drivers and run two of the applications that previously gave me the problem (Medieval: Total War and Power Point) and still give me the problem!!!!

It appears as a Microsoft Window where you can click "send" or "dont send", and the problem is something called "hungapp" which doesnt appear anywhere in my hard drive. Please help! I have to finish my estudies and need this laptop quickly!

    thanks

BTW, I have also bought a new HD (not external) and tried with this one, but still get the problem.

Have you installed any add-ons or mods for Total War? Tried using it without add-ons? Have you got the latest patches for Total War?

Also have you got the most up to date components? windows update (referring more to power point here)

I'm thinking incompatible add-ons or out of date add-ons possibly cauing an error in launching the 2

You mention virus scans, but have you done malware scans?

These two are what I know of for hungapp occurrences
