Hi guys, I have a flex pro and it has the i5 8250u...I'm getting great cpu performance but poor gpu performance, I'm trying to play crysis 1 on high at 1080p and i'm currenty gettting 21fps average and Ive seen people get 11000 plus on cloud gate graphics, If I got that my average would be 25fps basically playable. I'm trying to overclock it via XTU but there are no options to overclock when I install it....I am not sure why even with a undervolt im only getting 10 000 graphics on cloud gate with such good cpu perofrmance but if anyone who knows enough about computers could help I could arrange giving you the witcher 3 on GOG

There used to be a way to overclock the 2000-4000 series HD Graphics, but from the 5XX series onwards therte is no known way to do this. The reason other devices with the same graphics may score higher is because of faster RAM, Dual channel RAM, or a highe tier CPU that is accompanied with a higher-clocked GPU.JRE84 likes this.

thanks for that too bad, I know about dual channel ram being a boost...heck it even is with a dedicated gpu.
so even if I knew how to increase the power limits of the igpu it would not help? -
Yeah, even if you were able to overclock the igpu the added performance won't get you the results you desire.

I can overclock my HD 5200 from 1300 to 2300, probably 2250 for daily clock. The results are tangible, that all being said I dont game on my t440p, was mostly just for HWBOT.

on youtube it shows people overclocking hd 630 igpus
-
Thats on a desktop CPU, and an unlocked one at that, its an i5-8600K on an Z370 Gaming K6 mobo.
-
oic so it's true you cannot overclock the uhd 620 on laptops?
-
Laptop graphic model may bear the same reference as Desktop makes, it's often a numbers of % performance less than Desktop version.
