Just powered up my new Toshiba A505-S6965 and I've noticed a grayish white pixel in the top left of the screen not going away... What do I do?

Smash it in with a hammer.

There's a lot of methods out there for fixing a dead pixel, like pushing on it with the tip of something but I would do a lot of research before trying anything, you may be able to fix it.

If it's brand new, call up the supplier and ask to get it replaced. Depending on the LCD warranty, it may be done for free.

I second that. Normally, if you have a couple dead pixels (like 5 or so, depends on the location too), there is some coverage, and you have a replacement for free.
