    Ok there's the 250gb & 200gb of HITACHI Travelstar

    My guess about the peculiar pricing is that there are several other (eg Samsung, WD) 250GB 5400rpm HDDs so there is more price competition for that size. There aren't many other 200GB 5400rpm models (there's a 1/2" thick Fujitsu) so Hitachi think they can charge more for the rarity value. Not everyone will look at the whole range and discover that the bigger HDDs are actually less expensive.

    I would accept the discount and have the extra 50GB!

    its just odd to see a 200GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache
    cost that much then the 250GB
