Ok I'm talking about cpu temps here
Playing cod4/ut3 for 10-15 minutes makes me skyrocket to 74C
Im undervolted and everything.
I'm thinking of getting a notebook cooler for a good price

There's a few things to consider here:
1) Is that a CPU or GPU temp? If its GPU that would be normal, and even if it was CPU that wouldn't be unheard of.
2) Are you getting any in-game artefacts? Such as black lines / triangle or a sudden drop in FPS when the CPU self protects by down clocking.
3) Are the vents clean? If not clean them, and if necessary take the laptop apart to a degree so as to access them.
4) Laptop coolers aren't the be all and end all of solving overheating problems. TBH its unlikely they'll solve a problem. They might minimize it. I own one I know.
5) If you're sure that you want to go ahead with a purchase you should look here for some reviews: http://www.xps-wiki.com/wiki/Cooling . Although if you read that you'll see that it supports point 4.
All the best,

Hey
1) It is a cpu temp as stated in my post, i can't see gpu temps on an ati card
2) no, the fps stays the same and everything runs just normal
3) yes my vents are clean, laptop is a month and a half old as you can see in my sig
4) Any other alternatives? I think that 74C while gaming is a tad high :O
5) Thanks -
