    Old Memory Module not recognized in Toshiba A105-S2081

    After adding a new 512MB Memory Module to my Toshiba Laptop. It doesn't recognize the original 256MB Module, just the new 512MB module?? I have rechecked to make certain both modules are seated properly.
    Battery was removed and AC disconnected before adding the memory.
    Would appreciate any ideas.
