    Old gericom laptop and battery problem

    Hi
    i buy old gericom laptop nbi-366mp. It is p2 on 366 and he have everything i need. I dont have money to buy new one and i want to repair battery on this one. Battery is 1001gpg like on http://www.jandrew-elec.com/acatalog/Gericom.html (under Gericom Super Force battery, 1001) and when i opened battery i found 9 panasonic lithium ion batterys (cgr18650H).LIke on http://www.onlybatteries.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=11703.11 . Ok there is some electronics in that 1001 gpg battery and friend told me that i cant change just that panasonic litle battery-s because that electronics. That electronics is working but he told me that there is one part of that electronics that need to bi reseted. That electronic part write down hours of usage of the battery and when he said that is battery death then you cant replace just panaconic litle batterys. What can i do with that electronic, how can i repair that battery, i m tryin for few days to find something on the internet but nothing.Please help me.(sorry for my english)
