    Hi All,

Just looking for an opinion of this drive. I have to opportunity to get several at 85 dollars each. Are they worth putting in a desk top. I already have an 128 gb M4 in my laptop. Would it be worth it to upgrade to the 256Gb at that price?

I've had mine for just about 24 months now. Absolutely love the drive.

HOWEVER... With that said, you are looking at 24+ month technology, and a lot has happened with SSDs in that time. While the C300 held its own against drives at the time or even some 12-18 months old, the newer drives coming out now will out perform the C300 in mostly all benchmarks.

Is it safe to assume these drives have not been used? If so, picking them for about $.33/GB is a pretty good deal for the older SSD. If not, you may want to dig in and find out about what kind of mileage (usage or abuse) placed on them by the previous owners.
