Ok, first of all, i got to say, 2 days, pretty quick, well i think anyway... since my laptop won't be coming till 2 weeks >.<
Anyway, I got the shipment but i can't seem to find the 25$ mail rebate?

Ugggh... I hate rebates. Good luck!

Try searching for it here:

You have to send in for the rebate. Fill out the form (available online) and mail it to OCZ, then 6-8 weeks later you get your money if you filled the form out properly.

Ok, a little confused. How am i supposed to get the rebate again? Print it from online and fill out form?
-
You have to download the rebate from newegg. Go to their site and go to the link which has the 4gb memory kit for sale. On that page their will be a link to the rebate. Simply download and print the rebate form and then attach the upc and a copy of the newegg receipt. Than send OCZ all of this info in an envelope, and you should get the money within a month or so.
Make sure to send them the newegg receipt. I bought the same package, and since I forgot to send them my receipt, they sent the envelope back to me, and I had to send them the receipt. This took like 2 weeks. They did receive my receipt eventually, but since I forgot to include the receipt, I had to wait over 4 months for my rebate money to come. Just two days ago I received a email from ocz stating my rebate shipped. 4 months for a $20 rebate, man such a waste of time.

Am i supposed to just cut out the upc? It is a sticker.
-
well it seems from the other thread, you are returning it, so do not cut out anything.
Your sisters system uses ddr memory, and cannot use ddr2 memory, so you will have to return the 4gb of memory to newegg quick, so you do not have tyo pay restocking fees.
You cant send in the rebate, if you are sending the memory back

K-TRON, i won't be using it on my sister's laptop. I have order a dv5t laptop and it won't be coming in until the end of the month, so I decided to try it on my sister's laptop. Doesn't fit but no big deal.
So do i cut out the upc? -
The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
I went through this exact same rebate process for this ram as well. If you want to get the rebate you will have to go to newegg's site and find the rebate, print it out and fill it out completely. Cut out the UPC. The UPC is in the form of a sticker. Then print out your invoice that you received in your email. Send all of these items to the location specified on the rebate form.
SEND THIS REBATE OUT IMMEDIATELY WITH ALL THE REQUIRED INFO - YOU HAVE 12 DAYS FROM DATE OF SALE(INCLUDING WEEKENDS).
If your rebate does not reach them in 12 days, then your rebate will be nullified.
I write this because I bought this ram and went through the same thing. If you do everything they tell you to do(and include everything they want) on the rebate form(exactly), then you will get your money. Make sure to read all the fine print. -
Alright thanks for the help.
Ordered 2x2GB OCZ RAM of Newegg, where is my rebate?
