I currently own a Zepto 6224W which has S-Video and VGA ports at the rear. Is it possible to buy a cable that would output the laptop's image to a normal TV i.e one of those yellow jacks.

What would be even better is a cable that included a jack for the audio output and converted that to phono (red/white) plugs. Is such a thing available?

Finally, can the laptop be set to output NTSC or PAL or will it be "region locked" to Europe?

Well, outputting to a normal TV wouldn't be advisable since of the resolution downgrade (standard TV's = 640x480- I think even less)

There are cables that convert stereo miniplug (headphone jack) to phono - I've got at least 9 lol

I do not believe that any laptop has that yellow av jack, and most come with s-video or vga/dvi, some come with HDMI. Most HDTV's (I think all) have an s-video or a vga input

The best option would be to use an S-Video cable for Video.

And for video, a 3.5mm stereo to RCA jack cable

If you have a CRT TV, the resolution would be far too low for you to use it as a primary monitor. The only thing you can use it for would be Gaming and watching films. The resolution is far too low for any other basic tasks, such as Internet browsing, or MS Word.
