I had been overclocking my AMD Turion X2 TL-56 to 2ghz for a few months, but recently noticed that when overclocking the CPU and playing a game for an hour or so, the time on the clock would be slow. When I don't overclock, the there're no problems. Temperatures were good, very rarely going over 65 degrees (63 degrees max at 1.8ghz) and it was very stable.

I've stopped overclocking for now, but I'm wondering if it could be anything to do with the PLL I selected in Clockgen. I started with ICS 951416, but today I tried some others (just reading clocks and applying an overclock) and found 951422, 951446, 951462 and 952505 also work. From Wikipedia, it sounds like PLLs have something to do with the timing, but I also wonder if it could be because of heat increasing resistance in the motherboard and slowing the time on the clock.

Do you think that one of these PLLs will stop the time slowing down or should I just stop overclocking the CPU?

    Thanks.

Well, the time is controlled by the Bios and the bios battery.
It is odd that when you overclock that the time changes.
I would try the other PLL's which work, and hopefully one of them does not result in time inacurracy.
