    Hi,

I'm actually trying to overclock my Intel Pentium T4500 (in an ASUS K50IJ Notebook) with SetFSB, but at about 2.5GHz it crashes with a completely green or white screen. It seems not to be the CPU which crashes, because it runs stable at 2.45GHz with only 1.025V core voltage. Could it be my GPU? And if yes, how could I downclock it?

It's likely your DDR2 RAM and 4500MHD iGPU are both being clocked beyond their stable limits. See how the same problem was dealt when overclocking a 2530P at http://forum.notebookreview.com/7121833-post97.html . (ie: boot with PC2-5300 RAM and increase RAM CAS using SPDtool/Thaiphoon Burner)

Ok, with an iGPU speed of 266MHz it runs at 2.5GHz / 1.05V. Above 2.5GHz I get a white screen again. This happens with 1.15V core voltage too. Should I now try to flash my RAM? Which timings should I try?

Wait. My iGPU didn't run at 266MHz when I got my CPU to 2.5GHz - the SetIGP script showed an error ("SetIGP: is an unsupported IGP. Exiting.") when I ran it with "SetIGP 266". I did not see the error first, because the window closed too fast. What can I do that this error does not happen?

Oh - I just forgot to run it as administrator  . But now GPU-Z says that the gpu-clock is 640MHz although I set it to 266MHz / 320MHz... SetIGP reads the correct value, but there is no change in the frame rate of Minecraft and I can't overclock to more than 2.5GHz. What could be wrong there?
