    P370EM Replacement Screens

    Ello Folks,

    I have recently purchased a P370EM from a UK based manufacturer however I am experiencing problems with stuck pixels.

    Within 5 days of receiving my laptop two stuck pixels appeared and refused to disappear no matter how many pixel refreshing algorithm programs I threw at them

    I therefore ordered a replacement screen from my manufacturer and fitted it successfully, yet once again, a few days after installation, another stuck pixel appeared.

    I have researched online and it seems that stuck pixels are created at the manufacturing stage and will not show up until the laptop is put into use therefore I do not hold the company I purchased it from responsible in any way. You will notice that I am not naming them and this is because I do not wish to demean them in any way as apart from this I have received nothing but excellent service from them. It is my own fault that I did not take out Dead Pixel insurance when I ordered, so they are not obliged to sort this out themselves.

    My question therefore is: Do you guys know of anywhere in the UK where I can obtain spare Matte Screens that are compatible with the 17.3" P370EM Chassis?

    I would rather take my chance if possible with a different screen, than keep going back time after time and spending nearly £100 on a replacement screen from the original company when I have had nothing but problems with the ones they have to supply.

    I have searched online with no success, but seeing as you are the resident experts on all things laptop am hoping you may be able to point me in the right direction.

    First of all, very classy, good job on not mentioning the name, appreciate the thoughts there.

    Second of all I would contact the resellers again and ask for the screen number and so on, then you should be able to find the exact or similar models on Amazon/Ebay.

    You can also contact other resellers to gather information about the screen if you wish.

    What is the exact brand and model for the P370EM-3D model which can be bought online as replacement? Is it using 40 or 50 pins and cable should be on left or right side? Is there any online guide for the screen replacement? Thank you. .
