    P5000 Mobile Drivers - Not Working

    Hey,

    Ive tried a lot of drivers for p5000 mobile but none work, i get a 'compatibility issue'. It mentions that its incompatible with this version of windows and graphics driver couldnt find the hardware. I just switched to the p5000m and device manager says 'microsoft basic display adapter'. I have the 8770w.

    Any ideas what to do?

    Assuming you modded the inf for the driver to install?

    You need to modify the drivers because the p5000 was never intended to be used inside of your laptop. When you moddify the .INF, you are basically telling the driver that your laptop IS supported, which will allow them to properly and fully install.

    Nvidia hates upgrades like Lenovo hates WLAN cards.

    Have to forcibly inject your machine into the allow list.

    I just tried it and it failed again. No new errors just the same as before. I'd love the help when you can! I'm currently working in the netherlands but speak english. What time would you be free, and what time zone are you in?
