Im debating which one to get in my sony vaio Z. I cant afford the P9500 but am curious anyways.

I will be using the laptop for university, office, internet, movies, videos, multimedia stuff, and light gaming.

Where will I see a difference between these cpus?

I ordered 2gb ddr3 and will be buying an extra 2 soon to add myself since its cheaper (if ram matters).

I doubt it will make much difference for your needs. Just get the cheaper one.

Benchmarks and encoding, maybe gaming in RTS games, but not too much else.
