I have found nothing on P9500 vs T9500...

    ANYONE know anything or so?

Maybe, just MAYBE, it's because the P9500 isn't out yet? It's rather difficult to measure performance between existing hardware and non-released hardware.
It's part of the Montevina line of CPUs.

    And it uses 25W.

The P's have a lower TDP.

P9500 is not due out until May or later. It has lower power consumption and higher front side bus.

    ... The P9500 uses 25W compared to the T9500's 35W....

Yes, but... it also comes with 25W TDP.... so wouldn't it mean it offers both better performance and uses less power?

The FSB difference is due to Montevina, not power saving.

So if the TDP is lower... AND FSB higher.... doesnt this mean the P is better in both ways!?

    WOW
So lower TDP and higher FSB...

Should I wait until june? Will it be compatible with my P-6831FX?

I was thinking about getting T9300 but its not urgent in any way... unless I jump into graphic arts, video encoding, photoshop and stuff really soon...

Won't be compatible, Montevina will use an entirely different chipset, unlike Penryn, which was a Santa Rosa refresh.
