Why do I want one or why do I have to wait?
I want one because the I can't justify spending an additional $200 for just .26GHz more with the T9900 to myself.
I need to wait for the cash because the keyboard on my old laptop that I was selling went kaput. It is being fixed under warranty, but it won't be back for about two more weeks. -
Dont the p series also have lower TDP? (or something with thermal to power ratio)
Or am i wrong hehe. -

Yeah, there's that too.

Its 25w as opposed to 35 effectively making the P processor cooler

An SSD will help your loading times significantly, but won't actually increase your FPS.
The games you listed are all graphics card intensive and less cpu intensive. Upgrading your CPU to a P9700 (a whopping $348 MSRP) will get you .54ghz more CPU power and 3mb of cache, in other words, not worth it. The only games where you will see a significant increase in FPS are Valve games. Those games are very CPU dependent, so a faster processor will benefit you more than it would in Crysis.
Therefore, a SSD would be more beneficial because it'll decrease your windows boot time and decreases the time spent loading screens, but with your notebook, you honestly don't need to upgrade it. The 7805fx handles all games with ease, after all, you have a m9800GTS in it. . .
P9700 seems to be showing up now
