So, I'm giving my first laptop that I owned a little love and affection by replacing a few parts, and I'd like to look into getting it an SSD. The screwy thing about it (an MSI 1013) is that you already need to connect the PATA hard drive through a detachable bridge. The pins on the motherboard stick straight up (IE, they point towards the sky when the laptop is laid flat), so the bridge is necessary as a 90 degree bend, so to speak.

    1) What are my options for PATA SSDs?
    2) Is there a different bridge out there that I could buy that would allow the use of a SATA SSD? Sadly there isn't enough room for a SATA->PATA bridge to put into the other bridge.
