    i bought this RAM at Frys last night and to my amaze that it is only 333Mhz on CPU-Z (Memory Max Bandwidth).

    1. could it be CPU-Z doesn't have this on the database yet?
    2. or because www.patriotmemory.com doesn't have this on their website yet?

    * the label on the plastic and on the sticker is 667Mhz
    * PSD21G66782S

    - any memory test software to determine the correct bandwidth of my ram?

    thanks!

    im planning to return this ram if it is only 333mhz

    DDR2 = (amount you see) * 2

    333 * 2 = 667

    Everest Home Edition is good too, gives you a lot more info than cpuz.

    Remember what the DDR stands for = double data rate.

    Good luck.

    Everest is a very good program, however, it sometimes doesn't report the correct information. Temperatures on Everest are sometimes incorrect, and some of the technical details of other components don't show up, or are incorrect. It happens because the programs is unfamiliar with the new processor, chipsets, and other components. For memory, however, there should be no problem in using it.
