    What is the difference between PC-5300 RAM and PC2-5300 RAM? Is there even one?

    There is no such thing as pc-5300. Instead it should be pc2. Thus those 2 are identical.

    Also PC2-5300 is the same thing as PC2-5400, just as PC2-4200 and PC2-4300
