I checked out the post about DDR2 533 vs. 667, and was wondering if anyone had any numbers for PC2700 vs PC3200. Size, if it matters, I'm looking at 1GB sticks. Thanks!

I can offer you two reference benchmarks from SiSoft Sandra for what their worth. CPU speed and chipsets affect the timings big time.

    ATI Xpress 200/2xPC3200 CL3 DDR; Bandwidth Int. Alu. 2143 MB/s, Flot. FFU 2215 MB/s.

    SiS 645 PC 2700U CL2.5 DDR; Bandwidth Int. Alu. 1245 MB/s, Flot. FFU 1258 MB/s.

Hmm, so which one performed better? I do understand that this is just one result, with several variables.

It's worth it to go for the PC3200 400MHz memory if your notebook supports it. I saw a bunch of benchmarks on this forum where people saw good performance increases with it over PC2700 333MHz.
