    what is the difference really need to know! can i use a pc2700 in a pc2700s machine

    PC2700s is notebook ram. The S stands for sodimm.

    PC2700 should be desktop ram but often notebook ram is called Sodimm PC2700.

    On the same note, whould a computer with a pc2700s 25330 ddr 333 accept a pc2700s 25331 or variation thereof.

    also is a pc2700 sodimm the same as pc2700s.
