Hi, i have recently acquired an HP nx 9420 laptop with T7200 which of course does not have express card slot. I got a 2 Sata raid card with VIA chipset and while the card worked perfectly to my older DELL M60 the HP did not recognize it.
I then got another Sata Card without raid abilities and finally it worked but the speed in not better than a USB external drive (measured with HDTune). Is this possible????
Now i want to get a firewire B Pcmcia card but i am afraid to go further. Will it work at 800MBps or it will be like Firewire A? Compatibility issues? Any suggestions on the above??? Thanks
