I am getting a HP Tx2-1020us soon and I'm really bummed out on the fact that it does not have HDMI-Out.
So I was wondering if there is such thing as a PCMCIA to HDMI-Out card out there with sound output? I know some HDMI-Outs don't support sound.
I would really like the ability to hook this up to my HDTV and watch movies from it from time to time. I have a 65" DLP HDTV so it would be nice if I could use it on it.
Thank you for the help

Try DIY ViDock if it has an expressport and/or mini pci-e slot. You'll get HDMI + HDMI-audio if used with a HD4670 (as I am doing).

Hello,
I was looking for the same thing: pcmcia to HDMi, but alas, didn't find anything.
BUT... I think I found something better!!!
While I was searching, I found this: ATLONA USB to HDMI converter.
It's an adapter that you connect to your pc via the USB and from the adapter you connect it to your TV with a HDMI cable. I think it's perfect!
I did not buy it yet, because there seems to be a whole lot of different brands on the market. I just mentioned this brand, because I believe they where first.
You can also connect a sound cable from your PC to this adapter!
Any comments on this?
