New official Sony PS5 tear down video is posted. It had factory applied liquid metal and foam dam barrier! I wonder if they finally took note of everybody on here applying liquid metal to similar form factor devices to keep things cool, and if AMD plans to do this for their RDNA2 GPUs going forward.

Liquid-metal is 'cool'. But that is one ugly device that wouldn't get displayed anywhere in my home. (Even if I had a use for it).

It's just one more thing you can do for safety. Think, this is vertical for many users, same as a GPU. Kapton tape wouldn't save your PCIe, but trapping loose liquid metal with a foam dam would. -
