Hey guys Im trying to install some new HD/caddy set up it a couple MK1 CF-28 Toughbooks. The HDs have XP pro installed on them and I know they work because I tested them in my MK3 CD-28 and they both booted fine. When they boot in the MK1's it gets to the windows XP screen and then goes to a blue scree that says it "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage STOP 0x0000007B (0XF7AC8640) OXC0000034 0X00000000 0X00000000" Anyone have any ideas as to what this is? Im guessing its some sort of driver problem but what do I do? I know all the hardware involved is tested and good

Install Windows using the computer that you want to run Windows on. It sounds like some drivers installed from the first notebook are conflicting with this other notebook you are trying to boot the hard drive in.

To clarify, have you tried a clean Windows install on the notebook that is having problems(BSOD)?
